At Hero Academy, you will be mentored by industry gurus Janice K and Quester Ng, whose mission it is to groom future generations of barbers in Singapore.
Janice has been in the hair industry for 20 years, with over 10 of those spent teaching with an international salon. Today, she hopes to impart her knowledge to aspiring barbers.
With 35 years of teaching experience across Asia, Quester has been an Education Director since 1997, enabling him to tailor learning journeys to suit individual students.
When you sign up with Beyond The Fade, you'll explore the basics of barbering through two fundamental skills.
SCISSOR WORK - How to sub-divide hair for cutting
- How to handle hairdressers' scissors
- Choosing the right length to cut
CLIPPER WORK- Using clippers and guards
- Cleaning and maintenance
- Understanding how different guards blend
